I might be done with Rolex

After getting a subC

Was looking at the next model like HULK, GMT, BLNR, Daytona

Hulk is just another sub
GMT looks like sub
BLNR just another GMT
DAYTONA is complicated then sub.

If that's the way you see Rolex then, yes you are done with Rolex.

OP, you have to realize that this is the Rolex forum.

Saying anything negative here in regards to rolex will get you very predictable replies.

There is also a way to say something and you've said it in the wrong way.

Those are all different watches with different functions, but yes, at some point Rolex makes pretty much the same case for every model and sticks slightly modified movements in them. Excluding the Daytona obviously.

That doesn't make them any less well made or special. Frankly after seeing other brands with a million different models, I prefer the Rolex way.

Don't forget the Sea-Dweller, which is a Sub on steroids, and the Deepsea which is just a plain show-off.

Tough crowd. As noted above there are people on TRF who have 20 or more similar subs! Many rolex models look similar but have slightly different functions. It does sound like you are ready for another brand. That said and maybe what you meant by your post the sub really is all anyone needs

Lol, I could be happy with just a collection of subs and nothing else. There is that much variety in JUST one Rolex model...

I don't have a problem if you're done with Rolex, so many great watch makers out there. No problem going into AP, PP, ALS, etc. some people want to collect all Rolex, others want to collect a wide variety of makers.

Almost all brand of watches does the same with there watches. Like the Panerai, AP, JL, Patek, etc. They have different models to chose from. But they all look the same. So if your done with Rolex, I think your done with all the watches out there.

you are right. SubC is really the one piece that anyone must have.

if i were to go for the GMT2 initially, i might get the SubC but not the other way
