Whats your under the radar travel watch?
I travel a lot and take my BLNR on all my trips since I have the dual time zone function.
When I don't feel comfortable taking the BLNR out for any reason, I keep it in my suitcase in the hotel and lock the bag. I don't exactly have an under the radar watch that would be useful for travel, but I am considering getting one. Will be nice to wear a watch I like a lot, and also not have to worry about being mugged :) An explorer I IMO is perfect for this; and though I really do like the watch, I don't love it, and I can't justify buying it just for my travels. I know given the choice between the BLNR or Explorer if I was in my home town where I always feel safe wearing any watch, the explorer would get zero wrist time. Whats your "under the radar" watch? Doesn't have to be a Rolex of course.. |

I usually travel with my Explorer when on business trips. The Milgauss goes on Holiday.

I travel quite a bit domestically and international. When I go to cities known for their random and widespread crime I leave the Rolexes home and wear a Citizen Eco-drive with multiple timezone capabilities. Throughout Asia, never had a concern - maybe just naive.
Many cities in the US, Europe, Central and South America warrant caution depending on what part of the city you will be in. Rolex is well recognized and easily targeted versus other high end brands that are likely only obvious to the WIS. |

When not wearing my trusty GMT II these 12 hour bezels work great for travel or weekly overseas conference calls.

Usually my 14060M is my go to travel watch, I guess if I were somewhere really dodgy or a questionable area I might slip it into my pocket but other than the risk to my life the watch is insured and can be replaced.

Nice try John
I would like it to be my polar Exp II. but last time I wore it to South America I had a couple of uncomfortable moments. I am now leaning toward my Aquanaut.

If I had a BLNR and damn sure would use it for travel. I can't imagine not doing so.
I travel with my trusty EXP2. |
