Italian greetings from England, a personal introduction
Hello all,
I am a 35 years old Italian graphic designer living in England since 2005. I own two watches one of which, my travel watch, is a first generation 45.5 mm OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean chronometer with black dial and bezel, white numerals and usually worn on a black canvas ZULU strap. The other one, and the reason why I am here, is a Rolex Datejust with silver stick dial, Oyster bracelet and fluted bezel. I bought it new at the beginning of August to celebrate the tenth anniversary of my new life in England, and I am loving it more and more every day. How happy I am I settled on this as my daily wearer instead of a Panerai Radiomir :) I am glad I have found these forums and I am looking forward to being a part of this community. All the best, ST |

In the British vintage motoring circles it's pretty much the norm for somebody to name their cars depending on the history that comes with them, the make, model, previous owner, etc. Mine for instance was called Eglentine and I sorely miss her :) I am available and willing to elaborate further on all these names and how they came to be, should anybody be interested :) Thanks again for all your kind welcome messages. |
