Speedmaster Professional Moon watch

Now a proud owner of a new Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon watch. It looks good, feels good and it keeps me smiling. What a watch and great history.

Congrats. Just bought my first omega as well. A pre-moon speedy re-release. Great watch. Wears very comfortably.

It was a bit of a shock when you see how big the box is that comes with the watch. After walking out of the shop going back to the car with a big box with Omega on it is a give away to anyone looking to steal it from under your arm. This is one big watch box

Agree, you have a large outer black box with the Omega Speedmaster silver crest, then a really great quality/design inner watch chest box. Omega Card holder wallet, 2 books, one on the strap fitting and the other on the Moon watch history with NASA photos. Nato Strap, Moon suit strap, Omega fittting tool, pins, Omega Loop, Omega steel badge. A really great complete package with the Speedmaster Professional watch. How do I feel ? , Over the Moon

Congrats with your new watch!

Does anyone have any pictures with this watch on the velcro strap that's in the box? I'm curious how it looks on the wrist on that strap.

Velcro is EVA length, so it will double wrap. I'll try to post a photo of mine later

Thanks, that would be great!

I'm sorry, but what does EVA length mean?

Extra-Vehicular Activity i.e. outside the capsule and worn over a space suit

You get the EVA strap with the watch, but it looks a bit strange going to the shops wearing a space suit.

Congrats!

I picked up one of the Eva straps several years ago and never figured out how to wear it on my arm. I'm curious to see it worn and how you manage it...
