$51800 HKD, that would be $6640 USD.

I don't think it's that hard to get it. We got lots of ADs in HK, if I were you, I would check out those ADs not in busy district such as Causeway bay, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. You can always call them.

I was just there for 3 weeks, walked the whole of Causeway Bay and asked every ad there! No stock! was the answer I got.

Maybe they have some in Tsim Sha Tsui!! Or some other area?!?!

I would try some areas like Tsuen Wan and Shatin. You can ask some large ADs like Chow Sang Sang to check if there is any stock availalbe in other shops.

Are u fellows for real? The list price may be HK$51,800 but try finding an AD to sell u at that price. The GMT IIc is going above retail, with AD selling at HK$56,000. Even for non-ADs with existing stock, they are already selling above the listed retail price. Good luck for those trying to shop for one there.

it's different now, more stocks available. I read at local forum, many people can get it at list price.

I have a rather sad story to tell:

I was in the Tsium Sha Tsui area yesterday at around 4pm and just happend to walk past one the 3 AD's there, not sure why but something pulled me in for a quick look. Anyway upon looking at the usual display of Subs, EXP II's and YM's I looke up and asked the silly question "you don't have any GMT IIc do you?"

The guy looks up and goes maybe (yeah right I'm thinking) so he then proceeds to open a book and says "if you want to buy today in cash I can get you one"

This stumps me for a moment and I verify if he is sure and he says he has one right now in the safe for a customer but also has one at the office and is willing to give me the customer's GMTIIc in the safe if I have the cash -HK$53,100, again I'm stumped here as I had no intention to purchase such a watch so I gave some lame excuse that if he could hold until 8pm I maybe back..........he said he would but of course I never went back...........My wife would simply kill me

Crazy but true, just like another thread I read only a few days agao about a guy picking one up from an airport by asking the same silly question.

Be carefull what you ask for as they may just say YES WE HAVE IT
