Bezel swap from 16013 ->1601?
Will a bezel from a 16013 fit a 1601?
My bezel from 1601 doesn't have the hallmarks underneath but the one from 16013 has them. Curries if there is any difference in them ![]() |

The 1601 bezel does not have the hallmarks because they simply weren't doing them at the time. Also, it is 14k, not 18k. Your 16013 bezel will indeed fit the 1601 and if it has the hallmarks, it is 18k.

It should fit although the gold colour difference should be there too since 1601 is 14k and 16013 is 18k.

If the 1601 was bought in Sweden it is also 18k, as far as I know only a few markets used to use 14k, most notably the USA.

So I have to use an acid test on mine to determine if it's 14k or 18k?
Cuz visually I don't see any difference:) |
