What screwdrivers do you use?

After using from cheap to top of the line I think I have settled on these. A great price and I have yet to mess up a blade, even on the most stubborn bracelet screw. I have big hands, so I needed a big handle. The other screwdrivers which were tailored for the watch industry are so small. I'm not associated with the manufacturer at all.

I bought Bergeons and have been nothing but disappointed in them. They're a complete waste of money. I may try these though.

I had some too and the blades would constantly turn. I could never get the set screw to stay tight. I had to constantly tighten it. Ditched those overpriced pieces of crap. These are only $8 each

If you want bracelet screws to stay in you must use a screwdriver that fits well and the blue loctite..unless its gold then used the red one.

Also heat the links you need to unscrew first, this melts the loctite and the will unscrew more easily. But be sure to check all the screws when you are finished just to make sure they are all secure.

I never had a problem with a screwdriver that didnt fit

The tips on Bergeron are meant to be sacrificial when the blade meets up with an immovable screw. And that's why they sell tubes of spare tips... It's far better for the screw-pin head if the driver tip chips vs. galling threads or slot.
Human error causes most screwdriver problems - poor hand/finger positioning, improper grip, haste, wrong tip selection, etc...

If you are messing up the screwdriver blade on the link screws then they don't fit the slot properly. I've never had a problems with a screwdriver blade in a link screw. If you are messing up the blade you are probably damaging the link screw too I would take it to a shop if I were you.

got an old voh set, they are ok, but i use the horotec reverse cut set usually, much better.

Here's my experience with Bergeon. Get the 1.6mm. I have also the Bergeon 2461 sharpener/roller. A new screwdriver will have a "play' when you turn the screw. I use the roller to grind the tip at 90 degree angle on a #2500-3000 sandpaper until it fits perfectly on the screw. Even the so called cut-out screwdriver needs some work also. Trust me, I use a 10x loupe to check my work and I don't see damage/deformed screw with this method.

Maybe, but in my experience the burgeon screwdriver failed in a week without cause where cheaper screwdrivers have been serving me for years.

I agree, Bergeon screwdrivers suck. Now I use Wiha and I'm very pleased with them. Wiha screwdrivers are better because they come in many more sizes than Bergeon and the shape (flat) of the screw drivers avoids the screwdriver tip from slipping from the head of the screw. No more marred Rolex bracelet screw heads.

I like the cut out flat head screwdrivers as well but my Wiha screwdriver (from a kit of multiple sizes) chipped so not necessarily a big fan of their products at the moment

That said, Wiha are excellent. I have had (larger) screwdrivers and also hex ball drivers. They hold up well without chipping.

Nothing, as they say, lasts forever however.

I didn't know they made these small sizes too. We're these orders in the states or Europe? Care to share your source?

For Rolex bracelets I use Wiha 1.8mm. Now, I notice people here sourcing all kinds of Rolex parts, including Rolex screwdrivers, pray tell: Where can I buy Rolex parts and tools...? Thank you.
