Question-RSC Replace Bezel insert Sub

I have a 50th anniversary Sub and it is the model before it went to the ceramic bezel. My green bezel insert has a noticeable scratch in it. What does the RSC charge to replace that if I send it in to be serviced?

Thanks in advance!!!

300 is cheap but if you don't need a new one tell them not to replace it.

Well IMHO for a 16610 green aluminium insert its a crazy price, the black 16610 inserts are still around $75.

Yeah, and actual cost of the insert for the watchmaker is under $40 dollars.

That's 400 for the very ultra rare Green aluminum insert. Same material as the Coke, Pepsi and Black but 5x more

If you read my reply the material from what the insert is made from starts with A for aluminium which is not ceramic although very close to ceramic prices.

Since the secondary market knows that Rolex charges 300 bucks for a replacement green insert, the secondary market isn't going to be cheaper.

I get that but. Just like a 75 dollar black insert runs over 200.

That's true..

I suppose that people want to buy everything from their living room couch and pay those inflated prices. It's a lot cheaper to get an insert at a Dealer, which can't be said for a lot of other things..
