Today is a sad day. I guess i'm not as gentle to my watches as I should be, and would need to re-think my strategy manuevering the streets and subway of NYC.

I've had my 2015 GMT (black ceramic) for 1.5 years now and i've since: dropped it at a bbq, and just now bumped it on another person's bracelet or watch.

The drop at the bbq came due to one of the pins falling out and the watch just fell off my wrist onto the pavement resulting in a nick on the bottom left lug. a polish should get most of this off. Although maybe not with just the cape cod (never used that before, but this is kinda deep)

Today, on my way to work i bumped into another person's watch and noticed there was a slight nick and a hairline scratch on my crystal. definitely not cracked all the way through, but visible from all angles and can be seen anytime just looking at the time.

What are my options for just fixing all of this and punishing myself for it by wearing my tag for the next few months?

It's a fantastic sport watch meant to take abuse. I'd let it be and work on getting more battle scars. :)

Since it's a 2015 watch it'll still be covered by Rolex's warranty, you should get in touch with Rolex about the pin falling out and damage to the watch.

It'll probably behoove you to learn to live with these nicks. Getting them buffed out at the next checkup will just exacerbate your condition, and back to square one you go.

Just like all the other material things you own, watches are not impervious to daily wear and tear. Just enjoy until you can't enjoy them anymore, which is inevitable.

if it's got even a small crack in the crystal, then I'd get it checked. But, I think, unless it's one of the Rolex dress watches then I wouldn't worry about scratches & stuff... it'll just drive you nuts.

My scratches are a history of adventure, love, sex, triumph, & winning & losing. A history of my life since I got it. Never would I polish my scratches & dings out!
