Would you buy this?
I went to my AD and looked at the SS Sub and the GMTIIc....loved both of them. Then he showed me a "new" used Date -Just Pink Gold (its on the Rolex Website) and I kinda liked it but it was a little feminine looking. What do you guys think? Any of you guys where pink gold watches? And by the way...looks brand new and was going to sell it to me for $6000 usd...retail was over $9K

personally i would go for the GMT IIC as it is an outstanding watch. The DJ sounds like a ovely watch too but go with what you really want.
i always think solid gold and pink/rose gold watches suit older men rather people my age -24- so in my opinion that is also a factor. welcome to TRF

Buy it only if you like it.
I personally believe that a Rolex is a long term thing. Don't just buy something because it is cheap. Getting a good deal does not make you happy for long... But a watch that you really like WOULD make you very happy for a longgggggggggg time |

I personally would go for the GMT II 116710LN. I just got mine 4 days ago and it wears very nice and I am so impressed with the clasp and the many adjustments to personalize it to your wrist size. Not to mention the bezel rotating on 3 ceramic ball bearings. This eliminates that obnoxious clicking coming out of a top quality time piece. Before this one I wore a 1965 GMT Master Pepsi that has been in the family for 44 years and it still kept very nice time. As I am sure with any Rolex the GMT IIc will be with you for a lifetime. Simple mathematics 4 hands are better than 3…

hmmm....i'd say go for the rose gold, its unique and really beautiful, its rose gold....its a long termer for sure.....my father had a an old day-date rose gold, with a bark bezel and bracelet, and its one of the best looking watches i've seen, the sub is iconic...but its not running away...otherwise....go for the one that you like best...
