No way this watch would have sold for a grand if it was real. This had to ba a major scam.

Very true. Matter of fact when I was looking through the completed listings, legit Daytona's spiked this past week on Ebay with the price increase.

I wonder if this was an account takeover. Seems likely since the guy has not sold anything in years and when he did sell things they were golf clubs and cheaper stuff and had superior feedback,

The account takeover specialists go after accounts that have been dormant and have great feedback.

Only other possibility is the guy just went bad for some reason. Weird.

This is exactly what I thought when I looked at it. It must be an account take over. It is in the hand's of E-Bay to eliminate the sale.
