IMHO, $2000 is an average price for a datejust with the previous case and bracelet. I think there are some deals out there for $1500 on the same model, perhaps even less. Rolex sold many, many Datejusts that looked like that. With the economy going from bad to worse, I say wait a little. A better deal is on the horizon. Im thinking that we may see lots of those up for sale in the $1000 range, just a gut feeling.
Now to Official Business for "The TRF Club for Stupid Limeys" (S.L.U.T.S.) Attention all S.L.U.T.S. Congratulations on your 100th Post!!!

Hi Chris - On the surface that looks like a good price to me BUT
Firstly It has no box or papers Secondly it was bought in 2001 and there is no mention of a service since then. So you should factor both of these into the price too Congrats on the 100 posts keep up the good work

If you really like it, check it out first. The bracelet is kind of loose from the photo but you need to check it closely and if he just bought it from Mayor in 2001, what happened to box and paper? I think it should sell for 2K or under without those.
