Icon4 THE question, that shakes ...

..., but not stirres, the whole World and all Rolexers:

will 007 ever get back to the one and only "real" "Bond, James Bond" Watch?

... a ROLEX!

I vote for the Sub with date ( More appropriate IMO ), but I would accept n e a r l y any Rolex.

Your Opinions, Ladies and Gentlemen?!

Hint: you all read about Daniel Craig and his Rolex?!

If there is any justice in the world then yes, he will ditch that Omega and go back to the watch that has always been associated with Bond - the Sub.

Bond being a no frills sort of guy I am inclined to think he would go for the dateless Sub over the Sub Date.

Realisticaly - it probably will not happen unless Rolex outbid Omega. I think Rolex dont realy care any more - they are riding high without 007.

We can only hope.

He wears multiple Omegas in the current movies so he could also wear multiple different Rolexes...

For his "heavy" lifting, I think a DeepSea is in order.

For traveling, a GMT-II

Obviously he'll need a Sub

For his frequent love-making sessions, he could wear.....well, I guess he should be watchless for this activity.

Rolex will not bid, pay or beg to be in the movies, especially one that contains violence and male chauvinistic undertones, they will take the high road and continue to pick their ambassadors carefully. Omega, on the other hand, has some work to do on their Image IMO, so they will take the shamless plugs! (BTW, I like both Bond Films & Omega)

When Omega quits you'll see Bond wearing a Fossil or a Movado, depending on who throws them enough cash.

Or a Casio G Shock.

If you think about it the G Shock is the perfect Bond watch. It has gadgets galore and is pretty indestructable.

Shame its so naff.

That will never happen. But if it ever did, I would hope a 14060m would be the model of choice.

I am a Bond fan and a watch fan in general, but I actually hope it doesn't happen because I think if it did it would be because Rolex lowered their sights and paid to kick Omega out of bed and that would be unecessary IMO.

Yeah but the last Bond was quite low on gadgets compared to previous ones. If that trend continues (and I hope it does) then a SS Sub (date or not) would be perfect for Bond.

Is this a trick question because Bond is not for real.

What do you mean "not real".

Next you'll be telling us that Father Christmas is not real.
