Daytona scratches

Hi all, I've had my ss daytona for a few months now and I've been wearing as my primary recreation watch (dinners, drinks - not sport or work).

Of course it now has a few scratches on the bracelet etc. Which I'm use to from owning my SM pro. But I'm wondering how often I should have it polished by rolex and how good a job they can do with it. The dealer told me to get it polished every 5yrs and it will come back "like new".

What are your expert thoughts?

Scratches as you know are bound to happen. My Daytona has the same thing. I guess I've accepted the fact that I will get scratches. It builds character in the watch. IMO, I would let Rolex take care of the scratches when you send it in for service. They do a fabulous job and your watch will come back looking like new. Good luck on your decision and enjoy your watch.

Scratches on a watch are like miles on a car, sooner or later they are bound to happen.
Wear and enjoy the watch
