BIG congrats Colin, great watch (ask me how I know, he he)
BTW, why do you call it a 2009? ARed you referring to Serial number or year??? If it was made recently (ie. now), then by definition it must be a 2008 year model???

Hi Colin, welcome pity I missed you in Melbourne, I would have loved to have seen your GMT over a beer
Anyway, welcome to the forum, it is more fun to participate. I got my GMTIIC shortly after they were first released. The green 24hour hand is very interesting. The watch does have a lot of presence and I find the lugs of the watch quite substantial. My watch is very accurate and will only be a second or so out per day, and if you leave it the right way sitting overnight you can to some extent reduce that variation.

I have a GMT IIc coming. ETA early next week. Till then it's looking at the Rolex GMT IIc wallpaper. Typing on my iPhone isn't bad but inserting emoicons is a royal pain. Anyways have a good flight and enjoy your new GMT!

Welcome to TRF and congratulations on your GMTII. I know there are a lot of GMTIIc enthusiats around who will share their reviews with you.
