After four years of saving: my own SubC!

Since friday i have finally my own submariner. I saved almost four years long a small amount every month. Of course I'm very happy now! I'ts a beauty :)

And in good company now:

The other 2 were the watches of my grandfather.

Thanks everyone!
I bought it at an AD, but surprised by the limited stock of submariners at all the stores I visited.
There are always a lot of watches inside and at te window, but almost no black SubC.

I'm also from Belgium. If I may ask, at which AD did you buy it?

Congrats!!!

I recently had a friend tell me that he could never afford a Rolex. This same friend then took me out to a $60 breakfast and spent another $50 taking me to a movie I didn't really want to see but he did and didn't want to go alone.

It's all about priorities and goals. A person working at Jack-in-the-Box could buy a Rolex if they set their mind to it. Might take them a lot longer than most people, but it's doable. This isn't a Van Gough or a Gulf stream Jet.

@tensen in Antwerpen.
It's not the closest to my neighborhood, but he had one in stock (from a customer who did not pick him up) and I received a small discount.

Thanks!

I saved 100 euros a month in the first few years, later 75 euros extra in a fund.

Awesome first Rolex - the fact you worked hard and saved for so long make it all the more special for you.

Well done and welcome to the family!

Congratulations!!!! I did it the same way and the end game was so much more rewarding then I thought it would be. If I could wear only one watch for the rest of my days it would def be the 116610LN.
