Rules that never fail, do you think are there more ?

Hi friends, I wrote, as example, some simple rules that in my opinión "never fail" so as to choose your Rolex

1) Smooth bezel with oyster brazalet
2) Fluted bezel with jubilee brazalet
3) Wrist > 7 = 41 mm case
4) Wrist < 7 = 36 mm case

Do you think are there more, even for sport Rolex models ?

Thank you !!!!

Don't agree with your rules; but my 'Rule' would be: If I can buy it, I can wear it.

You're gonna get some push back with 3 & 4 on here....... seems like a lot of 6-7 in wrists with 40-43mm watches on TRF

I agree with 1and 2 but the overriding principle would be buy what you love.

I did not say that these are "The Rules" and nothing more is permitted. I said that these rules never fail. It is a different point.

There are no rules. I could wear a 63mm invicta, who's gonna stop me?

sorry.. Disagree with all 4 of your rules.

Not a fan of Jubilee bracelet, not a fan of smooth bezel. I have 6.5" wrist and love my 44mm DSSD.

No rules, just personal preference.

The rules are there are no rules. Can't say I agree with any of your 4, even first two I think mixing and matching them is a better idea than going straight.

I don't know about there being no rules, but the rules in the OP are not rules.

For instance, here's a 7.75 inch wrist sporting a 36mm DJ with a smooth bezel and a jubilee bracelet, which just happens to be my wrist.

I'm cool with 1 and 2. My wrists measure right at 7.5" and I just happen to be wearing my Explorer, 114270 today.

As a 40mm Rolex owner with skinny girly wrists, I say 3 and 4 should be if the lug to lug (12 to 6) distance is greater the width of your wrist, then you should not wear it.

Oh, and one more actual Rule I live by...No stickers. Please. PLEASE.. On everything that is sacred and precious in the Universe. No stickers. If you REALLY want plastic, I've got a whole roll of Rolex quality Reynolds I can sell you. PM for details.
