Ladies' Yacht-Master ref. 69623 vs ref. 169623?

Hello!

There's so little information out there about women's Rolex watches so I was hoping someone could shed some light. What are the differences between the ladies' Yacht-Master ref. 69623 vs ref. 169623?

From my research, I figured the first one came out in 1995 and the second in 1999, but other than that I'm stumped. On paper, they look pretty much the same; same materials, same size, same movement, same bracelet/clasp.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! TY

.

169623 replaced 69623 when the new movement 2235 became available to replace the 2135.

69623 was produced from 1997 to 1998 , then 169623 was produced from 1999 to 2010.
In 1995 only the full YG 69628 was made available.

Except for movement, no other difference to note.
