Congrats, you will be in heaven for a long time looking at that thing. Remember, keep your eyes on the road, I seriously wonder how many accidents were caused by some WIS looking at his watch while driving. I know I have almost rear-ended someone looking at my laser etched crown while driving, it always jumps out at me when the sun hits it driving down the road.

I could sell you one. They gave it to me with my IIc.

Don't need it b/c I wear it so much.

Yes, but how long have you enjoyed yours? That's the price you pay when you're one of the early ones to own one. I did that too.

Nakow - sounds like you got a good deal too. I was surprised that the big ADs were not willing to discount a dollar and the smaller guys were all willing to discount at least 5%-10%. I guess the down economy is really hurting the little guy.

I didn't go into the math of this transaction fully but my AD said you got 17% discount on $7720 Cdn retail price and plus the GST & PST ,maybe he was more flexible with me since I had two early purchases from him since mid 2007.Never mind it is a very good time for you guys to make a purchase in Canada since our currency is falling !

Man I have a bad feeling I am going to want to start having a collection of watches once I see how much I am enjoying this one. I was actually looking at a PAM 161 and 171 those are really nice looking watches - but $10K is kinda steep! Can't wait to get my WATCH!

I think he means he bought in person, and wanted to wear it out of the store, and they could just ship him an empty box to meet sales tax obligations, but they were real "citizens" and stuck to the letter of the law, ie. they wanted to ship him the watch, not just air in a box (that would be cheating, wouldn't it)

GMTJOHNNY - What is retail on the YG version? In addition, I see all of these guys indicating there model as if it were an M or a Z etc., and I don't know what that means. If mine has the ceramic bezel etc., I did get the most up-to-date version - right??? Looks like all the picks I have seen -green hand and writing on the dial etc. Thx!
