Hulk

Hi Everyone, Dubai AD has around a 6 month waitlist for the hulk. The price they are quoting (AD price) is around $9000. Is this accurate with other AD’s worldwide? Is it unreasonable to ask for a discount on this high demand item?

I would use the word improbable as opposed to unreasonable.

If they are quoting wait times means no discount.

I’ll go a step further and say that it’s unreasonable to expect a discount, and it’s improbable that he’ll get a discount.

Its beautiful watch, worth the wait.
The price is US$ 9,050 at USA's ADs.

Definitely worth the wait. I got mine last year after calling all ADs in Canada and finding one out East. A day flight and it was mine!

As everyone else has said, it is without question worth the wait (even with zero discount).

Why should you get a discount?

If you can actually buy it from an AD, then you in a sense are getting a discount. Market value for a NIB Hulk is closer to $12k.

Discount? It you don't ask you don't get. In the case of the Hulk, if you do ask you won't get. But one should always ask. A six month wait is rather good. He's not just trying to get a deposit off you is he?

Guys I wrote this back in December...now Dubai isn't even taking names on the waitlist. One of them told me its a five year waitlist...There is no chance of a discount :)

Last March I called an AD and told them I wanted a Hulk. Two days later I had it, no discount given or expected.

I think I am going to go Grey for one. I am going on a 2.5 month wait for my D-Blue DSSD and might grab a Hulk to tide me over from a Grey, I fail to see the benefit at this point in time at waiting for an AD to get one. I don't plan on adding anything besides the D-Blue and Hulk to my existing collection to go with my BLNR.

I’ve got very good relations with both Dubai and AbuDhabi ADs as I do marketing with both. Even for me waiting times are long for the hulk, Pepsi, Daytona etc. as for discount I know for a fact Dubai has stopped completely for SS models. RE; wait times the hulk will not be 6 months. It’ll be a hell of a lot longer in Dubai.
