Permanent Link Removal from 93150 bracelet

Hello friends,

I want to remove a permanent link from a 93150 bracelet and since this would be an irreversible procedure I want to try another bracelet on that has a permanent link removed to see how it fits.
Rolex in midtown Manhattan does not have any altered 93150 like that in their shop.
Do you know any dealers that may have a bracelet like that I could try on in NYC area?

Remind us which watch does this bracelet go with?

gotcha. I doubt, you'll be able to randomly find a dealer (would almost definitely have to be a non-AD) that would randomly have that bracelet with a permanent link removed.

do you have plans to sell the watch or anything? I'd just have the link removed. I had one of my wife's watches done for free at RSC. took about 20m. This watch was a wedding gift to her from my parents, we'll never sell it.

Alternatively, you could just wear the 14060 on a nato, leather or rubber strap. All of those options look great with your watch. Otherwise, can't help too much.

Thank you Chadridv.
I will have to start calling shops unless a member in the NYC area can let me try theirs on for a small fee.

Take it to any reputable watchmaker. It’s not rocket science but they’ll want to remove one of narrower links NOT attached to a removable link to preserve the bracelet taper.

My dad and I bought a 16710 together. I'm not sure if it's the same exact bracelet reference, but my dad has the same problem. the shortest number of links on the 6 side, is 5. He can still wear it on his small wrists and it fits, but the clasp is way off center. Pretty annoying.

its not a permanent deal, as it can be reversed, but try going into an AD, RSC or a local watchmaker to see if they have one already like it or what they will charge to do it.

then if you dont like it after a little bit, go back and get it reversed.

I was at an AD a few months back that had a sub c with a permanent link removed on both sides of the bracelet that they were selling as a "Womens Edition" Sub C lol. Fit my wife well though with all links removed.

i wear a 6x4 10 link set up. what do you mean the 6 side has 5 and it's off center?

what does the 12 side have? 7? 5?

if you want the clasp (not crown) centered you have to have one side 2 links longer than the other.

n'est pas?
