My own SD43 2018 release

Now that the red lettering will continue, as I thought, I am going to add the red second hand I bought about six months ago to my SD 43..

I'll post pics when done, and in my opinion, it might be the best thing that came out of Rolex this year.

I think it will look great. I love red hands. Is this an official Rolex option? Or are you going outside of specs?

Not sure of the question, buts its not an official option for the watch. I bought the hand from a member here that said it will work on the Sd43. It was to spec, guess Ill find out. it was like 220 bucks too/

I found the link, and the great seller I bought it from. Take it from there if you will.

Wouldnt changing that second hand cause warranty or even future servicing issues if taken to a RSC?

Yes and no. If you bring the watch to an RSC with the red hand, they will obviously know the watch was opened and worked on by someone other than Rolex. If there were a real issue with the watch, it would be wise to swap the hand back to original then take the watch in. I have a sub with a red date wheel and second hand and showed it to a Rolex rep in Beverly Hills when I brought a different watch in for repairs - I asked the question and they echoed exactly what I said above.
