Please note - I do not own this piece.... I merely brokered a deal for the sale.

Vintage plastic Sea-Dweller in unrestored condition.... THEN THE amazing restore results.....

Absolute inspiration to behold!

I believe the glass, bracelet and insert were replaced. The case, movement and dial are all original.....

Looks great, but seeing as so much was replaced from the original watch, the buyer may as well just put a new bezel in also. That missing pearl marker is an eye-sore.

Very nice resto case was shaped and finished nicely, still why no bezel insert pearl? Insert looks period correct though.

I agree with changing the crystal with a new heavy dome tropic, those scratches were deep and in the sunlight the dial would look lousy.

So we are curious, price, price for resto, and sales price you can pm me if you don't want it public.

The history is as follows:-
My boss bought the watch new in the late 70s..... I advised my boss the said watch was very very valuable.... he indicated he would like to sell....

Being my boss I did not want to make money on the deal.... I just wanted a fair price.....

Piece was sold to a specialist overseas... and my long time friend.

Pearl dot has apparently been done - it was just missing for my photos.... but you get the idea......

I would prefer not to mention money ..... as previous post I gave which mentioned $$$ were torn to pieces...... Let's just say the deal was fair for all.....

I got knodos from all .... my boss got a fair price and the buyer got a vintage piece - BOX, PAPERS and even lay by receipts!!!

As for mentioning $$$$$ the reason you were jumped on in your earlier posts was the way you came across.
The guy who has ALL THIS look at me, look at what I've got and how much I've spent!!!!
If you had just posted your watch collection with a rather less pompous text you'd have been fine, but LV luggage and the wifes jewellery etc... is not what this forum is about.
There are people on this forum who have watches in their collections worth $100,000 US each and people with collections worth possibly $500,000 US, but the $$$ are not mentioned and the watches are not posted to say ''LOOK WHAT I GOT'' they are posted for other peoples enjoyment and learning.
