Another incoming from Takuya - SubC

Many heard the thread I posted. I was looking for my second SubC. My first Rolex purchase was a Sub brand new back in the day in 2003. We are planning to give that to our son for graduating college. I was on the search for a new Sub. many of the trusted sellers were selling like new at new prices. I actually ended up finding a new one. I was sleeping on it when I texted my old pal Takuya to see if he had a like new. Timing is everything. He did. I asked just how good it was as the delta from new AD to Trusted seller needed to be worth while. He said it was in perfect shape, just like new. I jumped on it and got it today.

Enjoy the pics as much as I am enjoying the glidelock (have one on my Hulk and fell in love)

Takuya rocks!!!

Congrats! Looks good on you. Thanh is the best! I've bought several pieces from him over the years, never been disappointed.

Well, him or his co-workers polish all their used watches before selling them. In my experience, sometimes they overpolish the watches to guarantee they look pretty in the pictures and in order to sell them "like new". I would prefer to purchase watches that have some scratches and then polish them by Rolex instead if they bother me. I assume your submariner was polished too.

Moderator: My comment was deleted before. Is it not allowed to criticize pledge members on this forum because they pay for their membership? Seems a little shady.

I really don't understand what you are on about....

I didn't see your comment or delete it.
What gives you the right to criticise someone on the purchase of their new watch because you perceive it may have been polished? Its just ridiculous.

Now you go on to disparage a moderator and all moderators in general by calling their action as "shady" by deleting what I can only assume was a very negative and disparaging post to a thread where members were appreciating a new members purchase of a watch. That is unbelievable.

What gives you the right to rain on someones parade because you perceive their watch may or may not have been polished and then call a moderator 'shady'?

You just seem to want to bring the whole discussion and appreciation of a guy buying a new watch and enjoying it.

The transaction was totally above board in every respect

You know they say don't argue with someone who likes arguing over nothing because they are much better at you in doing so and they'll win every time. Maybe this is all a waste of time and you just need to go.

You even contradict yourself by firstly saying you know that all watches from this seller are polished, then in the end you say you can only 'assume' that the watch is polished, so you don't even know it has been polished or not. That just shows how twisted you are by making statements up which you don't even know to be true.

I think you owe Thanh and the OP an apology. The guy is happy with his purchase and didnt ask your opinion on the condition. Thanh has been a respected and trusted seller on this forum for many years. For you to make assumptions and hurl insults is totally unacceptable. To the OP...Congrats on your new watch and wear in good health!

Thanks all for the comments. The watch is perfect. Been around the block and have sent my older sub to RSC and know what good looks like.

Totally confident with Takuya. Will continue to purchase from him. Will enjoy the watch and I know my son will be stoked with the old one. I love glidelock

Post that in feedback when you experience it after you buy from him. Not when someone else is happy with their purchase. Have some class.

Takuya is straight up A+++++. OP congrats on your purchase and I hope for many more in your future.

Notice a trend that even if the watch isn’t your taste or doesn’t look good, one isn’t to post a criticism as it seems to be an offence. No matter how ugly or bad choice the person makes everyone will come in congratulating him on his excellent choice so just sit back and relax. Don’t spoil your weekend

someones incoming thread is no place for any criticism of any watch period. General threads its fine. This is bad form

apologies to the OP for hijacking
