Rolex Daytona 18K White Gold

"Year: 2006 Make: Rolex Model: Professional, Daytona 16529 Box and Booklets I just had this watch polished and touched up. It has been adjusted to fit my wrist, but can easily be readjusted. It comes with the original box and booklets, but not with the paperwork. There is a picture of the certificate and of the receipt. I prefer to keep those for personal records. It is made of 18K White Gold and has a Sapphire, scratch-resistant face. It is a chronographic watch and is in very good condition. I have decided to sell a couple of my watches, because I don't really have a need for them anymore. Well, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me."

Sounds fishy to me. And the sub-dials don't look right. Opinons?

That is a SS Dial. Not a WG Daytona Dial.

Wow, total fake. Plenty wrong with this one...good catch on the 3 and 9 subdials, they should be 7 degrees closer to the 12 position. It has a (old) Datejust booklet shown, not a Cosmograph booklet. The box is completely wrong as well. The bracelet on the 6 side is not completely snug against the case. Definitely not 18KT.

Is Casper around?

He has a; "Buy It Now" feature for $12,999 for a fake. His booklet is for a Datejust instead of a Daytona, the box is incorrect. He went through a lot of trouble and work to make his sale look legitimate. I think Casper is around this morning. I saw her flitting around looking for fakes and scams. She will definitely go after this one.

I hate scams.....

I'm going to have to pull a Ghengis Khan quote:

“I am the punishment of God...If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.”

...this listing is SUSPECT...

...WHY would the seller NOT include the receipts with the watch????

...could it be that the serial number does NOT match the case???

...mmmmmm, I think the CASPER lady needs to look at this one.

Stan.

It's Back

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Daytona-18...3A1%7C294%3A50

Seller is still claiming that it is white gold
Seller still wants to keep the to keep the paper work. Probably for his next scam.
It's still a fake!
