First GMT II to hit the UK with 3186 movement?

Hi,
In the UK there do not seem to be any of the GMT II classics with the 3186 movement and the M serial number.

What do you think of this, something looks a bit fishy to me, especially the model number!!

I would think that the 16710LN would mean a black insert..

And, there is nothing to indicate that this M model would have a 3186; however, I don't see anything that would indicate the watch is not authentic..

The 116710 warranty card is for a Ceramic GMT so I would be very wary of the seller's intentions.

It may be a genuine mistake on their behalf but I personally would pass.

Also he has just two feedbacks.

One is from a 0 rated Ebayer, no longer registered with Ebay.

The other is from a 2 rated Ebayer, one of his feedback stating "It's a fraud. I never received the item, and I still wait to have my money back"

The warranty card is definitely from a ceramic GMT IIc watch. There is also no reserve on this sale with only 2 days left to go. It looks like it is a staged sale with the correct box, booklet, warranty card for a GMT IIc though there are no papers showing. This smells funny.

The seller listed his address as:
89 WILLIAM BONNEY ESTATE
london, London
SW4 7JF
United Kingdom

What is that? no street address? I did some google and it's actually around Clapham Common. Meh, I used to live around there!

I have been thinking about his for a couple of days since this post came out. I have never seen one classic GMT with that high serial number, only M3's.

hi,
new to the forum, as I have started researching to buy a GMT
I was looking very hard at the one posted here. I had not thought of how a older style case could have a such a high M serial number.
what is everyone's thoughts about this GMT for sale? Fishy?
thanks
