I recived a Rolex Datejust 78440 for Christmas from my boyfriend. However I think it might be a fake. I took it to my local jeweler and he said he did not know a lot about Rolex’s however he said it had a nice sweeping motion of the secondhand and he tested the bezel, and it tested as 18k gold. The reason I think it might be a fake is that the Cyclops does not magnify the date the same way that I have seen over the internet. Help please?

Did it come in a Rolex box with warranty papers? Sounds like you need to see a Rolex dealer!!!

He gave it to me on a teddy bear without papers when I asked him about it he said he bought it second hand. I am not mad that he bought it second hand. He says the person is a friend of his fathers and swears it is real. I just do not think it is right for me to wear the watch if it is a fake

ok the last time I tried to reply the pc ate it
also model number is wrong 78240 is the right one
