I’m a new owner help

So just got a datejust. Blue dial Roman numerals basically what I alwyas wanted. Now my issue is that when setting time I need to wind the crown counterclockwise for the watch to actually go clockwise. Is this normal? Thank you.

Some Rolex watches have a crown that turns clockwise to set. Others have a crown that turns counter-clockwise. I don't know which models fall into each category. I do believe some Datejusts have a crown that turns counter-clockwise to set. Perhaps someone else can offer more specific information.

Is it new or pre-owned? Where did you buy it?

The year / model / quick-set or not matter.

I can adjust time on my 4 digit DJ clockwise and counter clockwise...

Suggest more research OR contact sell for info

This is not the OP's question.

RTT.

Hi 2dor. A pix of the watch would be good when you can.

If your DJ is older than ~1989, this is correct (3035 movement)

Bought the DJ at luxuryofwatches online, pre owned. I cannot upload picture as it is too large. I don’t think it’s that old 116234 ss + wg blue dial Roman numerals

It's the same on my 37mm Yacht-Master.
Opposite of my SD4K.

I’m a new owner help

On women’s sizes (my experience with my wife’s 26mm and 31mm), this is the norm. On newer 36 and higher though, this is not the norm.

I’ve used this excellent little article to determine crown direction.
