Hi !

I am interested in buying a SBGC221 but I have a few questions. I have a wrist of 6'6 and i'm afraid that 46mm is too big and too thick.

Are there any happy owners on the forum to get feedback and opinions on this beautiful beast?

I don't own one but I tried one on. Dope watch, and beautiful to see in person. The case does have turn down lugs on it, but it still felt to big for my 7 1/4 inch wrist. But you need to try one to see how you like it.

That watches ONLY flaw (for guys like me with small wrists of 6.5”) is its size. It’s a lot of watch.

It‘s big, yes, but it wears very comfortable. Since I own them all the other watches are almost only in the bank locker. My personal exit watch.

The SBGC2XX watches don’t seem to be well-liked, but I really enjoy mine. There’s so much to look at in the dial and the design is very unique. I think it has to be seen in-person to truly appreciate it.

As for size, it is listed at 46mm but I think it wears more like a 44mm. Actually, it wears much smaller than a 44mm Royal Oak Offshore. Whereas I think the SBGC219 is an acceptable size on my wrist, the 44mm ROO is way too big for me, even with a 7.5” wrist.

I am glad that someone is thrilled too!

Due to the shape of the case, it wears fantastic!

I think there are several reasons why it'is not found more often:
- For a Grand Seiko, people are not ready to spend so much. In my opinion, the price is still "cheap" if I compare them in terms of quality and attention to detail with other luxury brands.
- The size information is a deterrent for many, without ever having seen it live.
- The design is futuristic and rather appeals to Hublot wearers who do not even know this watch. In contrast to Hublot she is very good value in my opinion.
- In real, the watch looks much nicer and more valuable than any photo can show!

The limited model has sold quite well, perhaps some watch lovers will realize in the future how great this model line is.
