Rolex experts help! Certificate..

Does anyone know why this certificate is in french yet the number in the top left (160) indicates it was sold in the UK

Simply because they were mostly written in French in all of Europe sold watches and French is the main Language of Switzerland.

Does it really matter?
The certificate is useless because the warranty is not valid anymore.

what i want to now is why is the text on the dial in English? That makes less sense.


superlatif chronomètre officiellement agréé has a nice ring to it although i was really bad in french class, the order of the words would probably be different

Actually, German (High German and Swiss German) is the majorly language at 63%.

It's the chronometer certificate.

I suppose it is useless in one sense, in that it's the cert that's issued by Rolex and not COSC.
