No one would guess that it’s Real. Shabbily Dressed

I took my mom (89) to get her haircut and I’m in work clothes and old work sneakers and just thought, no one would even think my $40k watch is anything other than a Michael Kors

Haha... I did the same thing. Wore t-shirt and shorts and went grocery shopping with my DD40.

Exactly these days no watch is too nice for any attire, only the attire may be too nice for the watch in my opinion.

Looking at your photos it seems like this guy got a similar casual cloth style as you. Who would think he is walking around with a real Rolex Day-Date?

Looks awesome Sam, and I'd say about 99% of anyone wouldn't even pay attention to what's on your wrist.

I wear my PMs ten times more often with casual clothes than with suits.

One of the many pleasures of wearing a nice piece. Super chilled with unassuming clothes. Not that I own a PM watch but I do aspire to adding one at some point. Jeans, t-shirt and a heavy hitter is a great combo IMHO. That's how I enjoy wearing sports watches the most.

Beautiful! I always enjoy the incongruity of pairing my Rolex with athletic shorts and a t-shirt on my day off.

No ones care what on my wrist, people prolly think my watch/car are given to me from my parents. It’s all good here, I don’t care what people think of me anyway.

That's GREAT!!! i remember being at Panera Bread and a guy and his wife were driving a Maserati and they were both all dressed up in their Maser logo'ed stuff ordering food. Me? G'friend and i were wearing crappy Wal*Mart Haines sweats (New England winter). You could see the Maser guy looking for who owned the Bentley in the parking lot. ROFL!

PS: NEVER buy a Bentley, just don't. There's reasons why they are so cheap second-hand. Do not learn the hard way like the rest of us!

Looking at directly at my rose gold GMT, I had a young girl at a gas station in Jenson Beach Florida recently say 'nice watch sir'.

I'm 100% confident she didn't know what it was.

That why I love wearing my tee shirt, shorts and vans with my Plat Daytona. Only true enthusiasts know what I am wearing.

Don’t be so sure. Gold diggers know where the gold is at. That’s why they’re not just called diggers.

Agreed, still get a chuckle out of the member who posted someone commented on his Rolex Submariner "Bluesy", with, "Nice Invicta!!".

Thats it my man. Its good to feel comfortable in your own shoes wearing a $40k watch isnt it?

I wear shorts and t shirts (sometimes gym clothes) with my full gold watches. No one ever thinks I'm wearing a watch equivalent of a house deposit.

$40k deposit? You need to abandon watches and up your house game
