Vegas Rolex Report: No bursting bubble here!
I love to scour the Vegas Rolex stores for fun. Love seeing all the solid gold, platinum and diamond models that I never see anywhere else. Normally, and even just 9 months ago, I would also see many YM, YMII, EXPII and two tone daytonas, subs, gmt, etc. Normally all precious metal models were available if you hit a couple shops.
Now even those second teir models are all gone. These are literally just Datejust stores. Countless Datejusts and Day-Dates with only a few solid gold Sky-Dwellers and one single white gold YMII. Can’t see a smurf or solid gold sub/gmt to save your life. This was not the case earlier this year or last year. So many of you confidently say this bubble is bursting. I don’t see that here. Now even PM’s are scarce. |

Hah!
Two months ago I went to NJ, NYC, VA and finally NV. Practically combed the ADs in those areas. None. I only got a free 2018-2019 catalogue as a consolation. Sent from my TRT-LX2 using Tapatalk |

I’ve always had a dream of winning a ton of money on craps and taking it straight to a Vegas Rolex dealer to buy a DD.

I saw an all gold sub, platinum Daytona and couple others at the Bellagio last week. But your right other than that a lot of DJ's.

I'm not saying it's bursting, but I know for sure that it will eventually

This has come up before and the usual response is disbelief.
In some markets ( quite a few), customers are willing to spend MORE on a Rolex than previously thought. The "shortage" of SS sports has uncovered this. People had a higher perception of cost of entry to Rolex. They would see the SS sports as a "bargain" and buy that, especially considering the sales people were lazy and went for the low hanging fruit option every time..assuming that would close sales. But, now that option is greatly reduced, we are seeing MORE PM sold... The money is out there, Rolex is just helping people spend more of it on Rolex... |

I absolutely agree with the increase in exclusivity angle. As a current owner I'm glad they are harder to come by. Keeps our value higher. Although at some point I'd like to add a polar to go with my black Explorer II. I'm guessing I'm going to pay a lot more than I did on the polar.

I tried the Platona at the Bellagio on yesterday!!!! I dont think they are going to get $75,000 for it. They actually had two - the other with diamonds.
