Tudor Harrods incoming...

Hi all, I’d been contemplating adding the Tudor GMt Pepsi for a little while and then came across a good deal on a Harrods edition so pulled the trigger! I hope I’ve made the right choice.. pics to follow once I pick it up!

Nice watch with lots of character! You didn't buy it from Adrian at Bark & Jack by any chance? :)

Congrats.

Be warned, collecting Tudors can be a slippery slope as they make some great references. Check out the Pelagos LHD which is also numbered. Another favourite of mine is the new BB58.

Congrats. The grey price is definitely on the way down. Several on eBay for around 3-3.5k and one on a different forum at 3.4.

It’s a great piece and good looking too. Lovely shade of green.

I'm hoping enough of these come available that when I'm in London next time I can pick one. Would be a great souvenir for the trip.

There was one sat in the display case in Harrods a few days ago so catch them on the right day and they do have occasional stock for walk ins.

Also heard there's over 1K people on the wait list!

From memory the one in the display case is not for sale (or so I was told).

This is correct. My name came up on the list a few months ago. I sent money to my cousin who lives in London and he went and picked it for me. He's been holding on to it for me since until next time myself or another family member visits and can bring it back to the states.

My only fear with that watch is the chunkiness. I'm hoping it works on my 6.5" wrists. I figured if it didn't, worse case I'd end up reselling it for a bit of a profit. I hope I don't end up losing money on it if the second hand prices have been coming down.

You sure won’t lose money. It wears the same as the normal black bay so if you have a chance to try one on at an AD or grey you should know.

I've owned an older BB before but not the newer ones with the in house movement. I've heard the newer ones are a bit thicker. I'll just wait until I have mine in Hand at this point vs going to an AD to try one on.

What # did you end up with? I think my cousin said mine was in the 800s. I was surprised to hear that as I didn't think they had made that many of them.

It was 7xx when I picked up mine by the end of Sept. They are selling more than 500 pieces in 2 months, no wonder there are so many in grey these days

I’m wondering if they ever stop producing or it will be next “numbered” edition like Pelagos LHD
