1981 Rolex Explorer II 1655 - 7.1mil - unpolished/Ridley serviced

So here’s a special one available - 7.1 million serial Rolex Explorer II 1655 Freccione/McQueen - untouched/unpolished with beautiful matching patina, great bezel, nice original 78360 F code original bracelet and recently serviced/under warranty.

I purchased this watch about a year and a half ago from the original local owner - the watch hadn’t been worn in years and wasn’t functioning correctly. Come to find out it had not only never been serviced, heck the caseback had never even been opened in its entire life! The watch was sent this past spring/summer to Philip Ridley/Watchmakers International and received a full service and then some. Obv during service the watch case/bracelet was not polished or touched (outside of the original crystal which we decided to clean up vs replacing since the watch was all original), the lume was stabilized on the hands, and the crown/tube/mainspring all had to be replaced to get the watch back to functioning. The watch is under warranty until May 2020 and will come with the service receipt.
