Tudor Black Bay GMT - Quite Impressed

Well, I was poking around at the Rolex AD nearest my office to lust after the 36mm DJs, two-tones and YMs... I saw one SINGLE black dial DJ41 of any configuration (no white, blue, rhodium, slate, etc). They did have an Explorer, Air King and some OPs...

I was about to leave and asked if they stocked Tudor... "yes, sure do over there"

Checked out the BB58 which was awesome. The Sales Rep said they "just got the Tudor GMT in today and was in the back" still in the shipping container. Well lets see it!! Sure enough it was on the bracelet after (I was certain it was going to be on the strap)

First impressions:

1) The bezel is great - sure its not the rich deep cerachrom but I was very impressed in the metal
2) Case size is perfect (7.5 inch wrist)
3) The bracelet "lugs" are hardly noticeable
4) Exceptional value for $3,900 USD

Here are some shots in different lighting environments...

Congratulations! Awesome find especially on a bracelet as these are waitlisted at my AD. I love mine and still smile every time I look at it. Looks great on you!

Nice pickup. Saw this a few months ago while on vacation, wishing I had bought it when I had the chance. Congratulations and enjoy!

Congrats! I had one from new. Loved it, minus the height - just didn't work for me. But it sure is a beauty.

But it's too thick.
But it has a riveted bracelet.
But the movement stinks.

All three of the above are wrong. Congrats.

Very nice look in you. It is an amazing watch, really, perfect. I know, I have one too. Seem to wear it more than my Datejust.

I do love that tudor. I’m eyeing a Rolex GMT but that’s extremely tempting.

I got one last year and love it. I think it’s an amazing value for the money. The bezel color is amazing, both Pepsi and Coke under the right light. The quality and finish is amazing, and a great ode to the very first Rolex GMT which didn’t have crown guard nor a cyclope ( the cyclope was an option at that time, so some have it and some don’t). Congrats.

Very nice watch.... the Tudor to me gives options to get a nice time piece that has the GMT look for a lot less coin

I love mine, I have it on the leather as well as the dark bay on aged leather. It is the one watch, I have had many comments on.
