AD Discount?

Friend is going to buy AP ROO ghost at AD today. Should he expect or try to get any kind of discount or schwag thrown in? Thanks all.

If he's not getting at least $3k off and no tax I'd lean towards a grey. LNIB one listed here

Compare it to the best grey price and see if your AD can get to within 1 grand of it.

If you can/have someone take advantage of tax free, thats cca 15percent off the price.

That’s a used watch. I haven’t seen them new, with valid warranty, below MSRP.

That said, I’d absolutely try for a discount. I expect these will be at < $20k used before too long.

Try for a discount but it’s getting hard now to get anything worthwhile.

Unlikely from a boutique on that watch, consider it an investment into getting something more desirable down the line...

going to purchase a 26405CE next week, had placed a deposit. How likely is it to get a discount from the NYC boutique when purchasing it this week?

Both AP boutiques in Florida won't discount that watch because
it is hot right now and they know it will sell MSRP. Plus they
don't get that many in.

I am looking at this very watch myself. It is very nice, lightweight, clean and
Classic AP sportiness. Excellent choice.

Thank you, I just think it will be great for daily wear.... Heard people talk about chipping or breaking ceramic watches, but have heard that AP's have a different manufacturing process...

With that being said, should I worry about it breaking if it's on my wrist. I don't really beat up my watches but I'd love to keep this on even if I'm cycling or lifting at the gym.

Better chance Thierry Stern himself stops you at the front door to the boutique and offers you a free 5740 instead.

Have mine for like three months and as good as new. Given the size it took few mild hits but no signs on watch. The way AP does ceramic is amazing.

Dont count on discount, on few places I spoke with they get only one or two pieces per year and demand is such that it will sell for sure.

Be sure to post some pics!
