What would you do in this scenario:

Since picking up the DD40 I rotate it with a Tudor BB41 blue. My thought was that eventually I’ll probably flip the black bay toward a subC date.

Would you flip the BB for the Sub C date?

OR

Add a Daytona of some variety and keep the black bay to fill the place of the sub.

OR

Flip the black bay toward a Daytona and have no diver.

I would move from Tudor to a Sub. I would PERSONALLY recommend a 114060 just to offer some spice to the collection.

What would you do in this scenario:

Try in the Sub and make certain you’re comfortable with it before deciding.

Add Daytona and here's my thinking, the BB is inexpensive (relatively speaking) so you could wear it when you're being cautious. Daytona for sports, and DD40 for, well, you know :-)

Flip the tudor for a 116520 instead of a 116500 and you would have some cash towards a subc

Flip the Black Bay towards a Daytona or Sub, whichever you like more.

I would let the Tudor go for either. Eventually you'll want both the Submariner and the Daytona and you won't miss the Tudor.

Jesus you need a masters degree to understand this post. You need a diver and a daytona. In my opinion preferably both Rolex, drop the BB.

IMO, although I love the Tudor line, I would not wear one if I could wear a Rolex.

This is not a contest for me. Flip the bb, but the Daytona and have a great 2 piece collection. Not everyone needs a dive watch and the 100m or so resistance for those should be more than enough for your future needs.

I would do the 1st option, flip BB for a SubC, and a another idea, is flip the DD for a Daytona, I think you can buy a OF PM Daytona with the money of DD, then you will have a super diver and a super chrono, I would do that imo!

I believe the BB is a great watch and in a comparison with the Rolex divers holds it own for fit, wear and quality. The in-house movement on the BB has a 70 hour power reserve and mine keep as good or better time than my 3 Rolex divers. A lot of people want the Rolex for status, coolness and look at me factor. Nothing wrong with that and I was that guy when I was younger in age and experience as a collector. If you take that out, you get a lot of watch for the money in the BB. When you look at what you will get on a sale or a trade, I would say hang onto it and wear it when, where and how you want.

Sorry, just don't understand any "what should I buy threads". That question has never been a problem for me to answer on my own.

I’ll make sure to only post threads complaining about my AD and the price of SS and the BLNR from now on.
