I got some on my 2 day old sub today. Damn!!! but oh well I guess it shows character. Still loving my new watch.

And don't polish them out in 6 months. Remember that is precious metal on that band.

Live and learn to love the desk diving scratches.

The "office" is truly a harsh environment

Wrist watch materials have much advanced, steel, ceramic, titanium, we see variants for divers, pilots, racers and climbers!

Yet they get beaten up sat behind an office desk - the domain of the keyboard, mouse, stapler and telephone

Go figure

The first few scratches hurt the most....I recommend long-sleeves at the desk with the shirt-cuff unbuttoned to allow your watch a place of shelter from the edge of your desk!!

I found that if I lay dawn a soft paper towel to rest my wrist on it cut down on the scratches. I'm sure a microfiber towel will work also.

It's inevitable that you are going to get scratches on the Bracelet. What really was disheartening was seeing my first very light scratch on the crystal!!!

Well you could always put a mouse mat under your watch wrist...
but personally I prefer to wear a watch on a leather strap for desk work - much more comfy.

I know of one person who removes his Panerai and leaves it on his desk all day. This brings all sorts of other potential problems to mind.

I sometimes find wearing a nice watch in the office too distracting - spend too much time staring at it - so often don't bother at all (wearing a watch that is)

You have the world's toughest watch that can withstand everything from the ocean depths to arid deserts to frozen Mt. Everest. I wouldn't fret over cosmetic blemishes.

i know how u felt buddy, i got one on mine yesterday night too. Oh well.. just enjoy the watch and forget abt the scatches.
