What to add next...?

I am getting the itch to add another piece to my "collection". In the box currently rests a 14060, 16710 coke and a vintage Speedmaster. I wear them on rotation throughout the week. I am not the suit and tie type. I am a contractor. I'm feeling the need for something with a bit of wrist presence. I have previously owned a hulk, bluesy, yachtmaster, explorer II and SD4K. I do have the itch for another SD4K.

what's your budget and/or AD accessibility?

How about a BLNR?
\

Or an SD43? I'd worry that the 14060 and SD4k might be too similar. The SD43 has arguably better proportions than the SD4k (which I find too thick for the case shape and size). SD43 has plenty of wrist presence and shouldn't compete with your other pieces?

Depending on what you want to spend a RG YM on Oysterflex is an awesome watch!

Too many options out there to list without knowing how much you're willing to spend.

Given availability best to stay away from Rolex and AP. Omega still has some reasonable availability of great watches at attractive pricing.

There are a couple great IWC moon phase watches, and you have money left over to buy a guitar or whatever extra hobbies you have

I would consider a PM option so long as it’s <$30k. To me there’s a void in the market between ~$13k and ~$23k...

I’d suggest something more dressy. If you’re looking for a rolex then a DJ or better, a skydweller

What piece would be a good “speculation” purchase? Maybe a pre-vintage piece...

I think an Explorer II would be a great addition, GMT with a larger case size, and a tool watch at best. Going up in price, the SD43 or even the DSSD would be awesome and have quite the wrist presence. Are you wanting to stay in Rolex or do you want to venture out? If so, Panerai has some great options if you like changing straps and having some versatility like the Speedy.

Strap is fantastic. No one makes sailcloth like Blanpain. I ordered a green one also. 120 hr power reserve is killer too.

Comparing prices of a SS sports model a pre owned DD is a steal and would fit perfectly in your collection
