Phishing attempt from user "ame" - need help from moderators

I just got a private message from a member with 0 posts, asking me to look at a watch he wants to buy -- but the link appears to be trying to get me to enter my forum login name and password, and it's not a legitimate link.

Who do I report this to?

The members id is "ame". I can forward the private message from them if you want to see it.

Press the triangle next to online and report direct to a moderator.

Use the report function triangle on the pm in question so that we can access it directly.

I’m not understanding what you’re asking, if you want to post a question go right ahead. If you feel that there is fraudulent activity afoot report it by clicking on the red triangle either in the pm or a post.

I'm new to the Rolex Forum. Posted my welcome message and also dropped in some details of a watch I was after.

I got a private message from a seller on here about the very watch I was after, asking me to email them directly for pics etc.

I'm after confirmation that they are legit, the two references that they sent me have both private messaged me back saying he is 110% great. He sent his driving licence image to me as well (and name, Smith) - so all stacks up so far.

I'm a very careful person when buying online, especially from someone new and online. Apologies if I am being too careful here. I don't mean to offend anyone.

The seller is itsmaxemiliano

The two people I ran references with are:

Bacnine

and

hawainpanda

My worry here is that the watch seller's posts use the logo and links for this instagram account mvv_watches

This account is owned and run by Max Vargas. I contacted him and he believes this account is hacked and they are pretending to be him.

So it seems like the seller is not the seller, as they've also said in an email reply to me that that insta account is indeed theirs.
