Rolex watch of the decade?!

I wish I could create a poll.

What do you all think was the Rolex watch of the decade?

My favorite in their catalog would be the 2018 GMT Master II BLRO. Things I considered: looks, comfort, price, function, legibility, hype, resale value/value retention, impact on the hobby in general and Rolex line, and recognizability. Yours?

HNY!

From a FOMO point of view, Daytona C is the clear winner.

Coming out in 2010, the Hulk is the rolex watch of the decade imo. It has been a hard to get watch for 10 years now.

Although many great watches by Rolex like Hulk, BLNR, Pepsi, Skydweller Blue but I think the ones which Rolex hit outta park with minimal objection is and will always be Daytona White dial. Every other watch there are some detractors but Rolex white dial has least. Also this is only watch which sells TWICE its MSRP on grey market, other watches are around 1.5 times

BLNR! First ceramic no-colored bezel and now the new Batman on jubilee...incredible watch!

116500LN. The watch remains elusive, secondary market price is high, and this piece probably lifted the prices of all pre owned and secondary market pieces.

I don't have one and likely never will but my vote would be the white gold meteorite dial GMT.

I'm going with the classic 116610 SS black dial/bezel Submariner. Definitely qualifies if you are talking the last 10 years.

Either white or black because they’re both of the same breed but for me it’s the white

James' top 5 favourite wristwatches of 2019 https://timeandtidewatches.com/five-best-watches-2019/

Looks like the new BLNR made the cut.

If we are talking a Rolex of the decade it’s hard to argue against the Sky-Dweller from an engineering standpoint it’s an outstanding solution with its complications. A way for Rolex to stay relevant and innovative. The BLRO, Daytona etc are great watches but an update on a classic that’s been around for years in one way or another, more of the same.

To me value retention or price on second market are irrelevant as is availability in this case as it’s driven by demand.

SkyD... the only completely new model.

Daytona is the vintage watch of the decade, it’s the Paul Newman sale that drove interest (it was an afterthought before that)

After thought? I believe the Daytona has been hot for the past few decades. You may be talking back in the 70s and 80s.
