PLEASE HELP........ SS sky dweller vs....
Hi Guys,
Curious what you guys think? I’m considering trading in my SS white dial sky dweller plus cash for AP 26401. (44mm RG ROO). I know buy what you like, etc but just curious what others think. Thanks and Happy New Year. |

Go for it and get it done before Feb. 29th so you don’t have to adjust the annual calendar.
This being a Leap Year many SkyDweller owners will follow suit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I wouldn't make that trade. I do not care for AP watches.

Absolutely. I would make that trade in a New York minute.
I don’t think you’d regret it — especially in RG. Only thing I would recommend is trying on a 44mm Novelty first / if possible— but they are fantastic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Depends on the deal but the Offshore is way more watch than the Sky-D and a white dial led one is easy to replace if you have a good relationship with your Rolex dealer or can be had at a small premium in the secondary market.
The 26401 is awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I do like the AP. Good proportions a 44mm watch that is only 14.4 mm thick, so it should wear nicely. The Sky Dweller is an exceptional piece. I do think that the AP is a nice progression to another tier of watches. It seems you can score the AP for a decent price, under MSRP on the secondary market. I would go for it. What are your concerns?

I’d make the trade for sure! Big fan of that AP model. (Assuming the trade deal makes sense $$$ wise.)

Personally, I would keep the Sky Dweller. An annual complication is a wonderful thing to own and it's a watch that's far more stylish than the AP model you're looking at.
But... different strokes etc. :) |

Just remember if you get rid of it you might have a hard time getting another if you do regret it once it’s gone. If you can live with that decision go for whatever will make you happy, that’s what the hobby is all about.

I would be inclined to keep the Rolex.
Why are you considering the change? Don't you like the Rolex anymore? |
