New year incomings.

I had a wonder over to Nottingham today to have a look at picking up a Grand Seiko. Berry's the Seiko AD is just over the road from the Rolex AD. I popped in to wish my SA a happy new year. The windows were adorded with the usual bejewelled DJs and bugger all else. When my coffee arrived we chatted for a bit and he asked me if there was any Rolex I fancied. I replied the only one I would want would be an Explorer 1.

He then totally surprised me by saying its your lucky day then we have just received one in the delivery today, its yours if you want it. He got it for me to try on and I was sold it even comes with a 10 year warranty.
A bit of a bugger really as my wallet had already taken a bashing over the road at Berry's.

Whilst he was sorting out the paperwork and sizing it for me there we at least 5 people wondering in asking for all the usual hot models.
As an aside both ADs Rolex and Seiko managed to size the bracelets with no damage.

Anyway pictures or it didn't happen. And one of the GS for good measure.

Rolex fatigue, perhaps? GS makes a very nice product for the price. It's hard not to respect that.
