First trade help....I'm not sure where to start

I'm hoping to get some feedback on how to proceed with finding a trade and what to expect, where to look, etc...

I recently inherited my fathers 116300 DateJust II. He received it as a gift and never wore it since he wasn't into watches at all. Now that I have it, it is way too heavy and large for me. I wear either a Speedmaster on leather or a vintage Seamaster, also on leather. Between the weight and bulk and the 21mm lug width, it really isn't my thing.

I would like to end up with the same model (black face and smooth bezel) in 36mm. What should my next step(s) be and what should I expect financially? Am I going to take a huge loss? Perhaps I need to think about dropping down to the Perpetual 36 to get close?

I haven't done this before and am a bit lost.

Thanks!

Reach out to one of the Trusted Sellers here. I have had fantastic dealings with Takuya. Others have had success with DavidSW. They will be able to source a 36mm DJ for you and will take your DJII on trade. Good luck.

Being in NoVa, you could take a little ride up the Beltway into Md. and see what Alan Furman could do for you.
