Hello,
I Want to change my daytona 116520 dial for a Green aftermarket one.
Anyone did it?
Thoughts about it?
I will keep the original one.

The quickest way to devalue an amazing watch.Never a good idea to change the originality of how the watch was made and appears on the original papers and design. But hey it’s your watch....

I think it could turn out looking pretty cool. I don’t know if it matters, but 99% of the people won’t know the difference but anyone into watches will think it’s fake. Again, maybe that doesn’t matter to you.

You won’t get a great deal of encouragement on here - it’s a conservative crowd. Yet if Rolex ever released a steel Daytona with a green sunburst dial the forum would implode after reaching a critical mass of orgasmic frenzy.

I think it could look amazing. Don’t worry about the value aspect - as long as you get a competent watchmaker to do the switch and keep and properly store the OEM dial there won’t be any issue.

Go for it! Your watch, plus it is very easy to do... and change back. Plus it makes yours more unique. Wife has a franken Rollie and loves it.
