FYI, I like the fit on my wrist 16700.
The new model lugs kinda bite into my wrist a little, and the clasp is really big and gets scraped up easily compared to 16700. Just an observation for those considering purchasing. Since the new one (and the old one) was a gift, I wear it, but for those considering a purchase, try to "try one on" before you buy if you can so that you can make informed decision. Everybody is different, and I like wearing my 16700 at work because you never "feel it" on your wrist, and the new model is quite the opposite of that for my sized wrist |

Nice comparison photos, I just love the feel of the 16710 (16700). As wilsonpepper had described above you hardly feel like you are wearing a watch just about.

Having owned both, I have to agree- the weight is by far the most significant difference. In fact, I'm still not used to the weight of the 126710BLRO.
