Tudor bronze love it but not a fan of snowflake hands
As the title says I actually would not mind getting a Tudor bronze. I really like the bucherer model. Just really like the color scheme. I like the black bay as well.
The problem I have with Tudor are the snowflake hands. Yes I know it’s their iconic mark, but I am not a fan. This might annoy the purists, but what options do you think I could use for replacing the hands but still matching the dial etc? Is it possible? Something from Rolex, would they fit? I know RSC would not do it but a good independent could do it easily. Any thoughts appreciated. |

Would you consider a non Black Bay Tudor? I think the hands on the Ranger are pretty cool (although the watch is too large for its style). I like the hands on my Advisor too. I felt the same about the snowflake hands originally but I have grown to really like them, especially in gold.

Have you spent much time hands-on with them? I know that aesthetics are very personal, but the snowflake isn't huge on the wrist. It looks much larger in pictures. A Black Bay without a snowflake would look off to me.

I think after you own a Tudor you either won't even notice the snowflake hands anymore, or more likely you will grow to like and appreciate them like so many of us. Makes the time so easy to read and provides more lume for low light situations.
As for replacing the hands, the old Tudor Subs used more standard mercedes hands. Maybe they would work for a 58 or something similar? |

I wasn't a fan of them at first, but I really liked and wanted the BB GMT, in person and on the wrist I grew to like them (and the GMT has an extra 3rd snowflake hand!).
Snowflake is their thing, I highly doubt they would change, plus it helps distinguish them from other brands and from their big brother |

Thanks for the comments.
I think I might go to an AD and try some Tudors on to see how it looks first hand. |
