Black Bay 58 NATO strap change

Hi all,

apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but have had a good dig around the forum and am unable to find the information I'm looking for.

I've got a Tudor Black Bay 58 on NATO and am looking for a suitable springbar tool and spare springbars. Anyone have any ideas?

This site seems to have a multitude of springbars but I'm suffering from choice paralysis, and insufficient info on what sort of springbars I should look out for. https://www.cousinsuk.com/category/fittings-spring-bars

Thanks,

M

Black Bay 58 NATO strap change

Spring bar tool is the tweezer Bergeon 7825, 2nd from the top in the box.

You can order it from Otto Frei or Esslinger. Not sure about BB58 spring bar dimension. Once you have them, you can probably order then from the same web sites.

Thanks to both of you for the advice.

In the end I went for the Bergeon 6767F and some springbars from Strap Mill Canada. Just fitted an Erikas MN strap and am very happy with the result!

Looks good. I just picked one up on bracelet but I actually like it on leather best. The bracelet is ok but there is not enough micro adjustment and no half links so it’s either too loose or a little tight.

I intend to purchase a tudor nato for it.

Stevec14 - Thanks! I bought mine on the NATO - had intended to buy it on the bracelet and buy the NATO later, but saw it in a shop window on NATO and couldn't resist! Absolutely love the NATO - it's a great look, fantastic quality and really comfortable.

Stevedssd - Thanks also. Rubber looks great! I really like the integrated look. What brand did you go for? Thinking about a Rubber B, but holding off for the moment in hope that they make a dual colour one like they do for the 41mm Black Bays.

Mine is a Vanguard, was the only manufacturer in December but Rubber B also now make one. The Vanguard is $130 plus about £3.50 import tax with very quick delivery by DHL. I also have one on my BB Harrods, they are really well made and super comfortable

This is not true. You need spring bars that actually fit. There are many different versions of 20mm spring bars.
