The jubilee bracelet: issues from guys with hairy wrists?

I’m contemplating the idea of a jubilee GMT, never had the opportunity to try one out at my AD and probably never will, unless a nuke war will compete against the current pandemic.

So the best case scenario would be to get a call from my AD and face the decission on spot, with no chances to put it on the wrist before. But I’ve heard worries from guys regarding the wrist hair issue.

Any advice?

I'm not a super hairy guy but my hair always gets tugged by all of my other oyster bracelet watches. Recently owned a DJ41 and since the last 2 months it never have tugged my hair at all. So no worries

try a D41 on jubilee as that shoud be findable at most AD's (if open) and if the bracelet is uncomfortable on that it almost certainly will on current GMT II as well

i am not especially hirsuit and i have had a DJ41 126300 wimbledon for 3 weeks now and have found it an extremely comfortable bracelet in use

I have no issues with a jubilee. Do have with an oyster though.

You’ll be fine.

If the fit is snug you won’t have any hair issues. I wear a BLRO , it’s a very comfortable bracelet.

Have you thought of shaving your wrists? Or maybe a trim. Sorry OP but this is a humorous post.

What annoys me more from the jubilee to oyster is the hairs actually poking through the jubilee band.

Funny how some guys have issues with the Oyster, and me (orangutan hairy) think they are the most comfortable bracelets. I've yet to own a jubilee yet, although the BLRO is probably my next Rolex purchase.

For me, none of the less expensive Japanese brands are comfortable for me (Seiko, Citizen, etc.) and I have to spend thousands on Swiss watches to get the comfort that I need.

Absolutely no problems with mine - was more of an issue with Oyster strap to be honest.

Nope, most comfortable watch band I've ever had. In fact, the only one that doesn't pull my hair!

Absolutely hilarious!

To answer your question OP, you'll be just fine.

I've got hairy wrists and my DJ w/ jubilee was just fine on me.

Not a issue and hands down the most comfortable bracelet watch I have ever owned. I always thought my Oyster bracelets were very comfortable until I started to wear the new super Jubilee. It’s in its own league the way it wears on your wrist in any climate or temp.

I love and own lots of dive watches but I can say the super Jubilee is a better dive bracelet as it flows water and air a lot better. There is a reason the Ploprof is still on a mesh style bracelet.

I have a lot of hair on my wrists and have Jubilee & Oyster bracelets. The Jubilee had an issue for the first 3-4 wears (12 hours a day). It adjusted beautifully. It's very, very comfortable (I would say the most comfortable). You will love and I don't think you'll have any issues.

Enjoy!
