214270 Mk 1 Legit Check

Hey all, first port here, about to pull the trigger on an explorer 1 from a well know guy in a local FB group. Looks good to me but wanted to get your thoughts too.

Many thanks for any help

Why take it off the box holder and put it onto a black sponge to photo the clasp? Or is this 2 sets of pictures or 2 watches?

Buy this Face to Face only. Real watch in the pic(s) but there are other inconsistencies.. goodness knows what you may receive, if anything, if you buy online.

The watch came out of his safe in a travel roll. I guess he was keeping the box seperate. It’s 2 sets of pics. The one on the sponge was late at night, so he pulled it out of the safe to give me an idea of condition. The other are a part of 15-20 photos he sent today.

Can't be too careful. Scammers will pull pics from all over the web. I'm not suggesting your guy is a scammer, just suggesting you take care when buying a Rolex watch from anything other than an AD or bricks and mortar store. It seems even a trusted seller in AUS can let you down (ref recent news).

Looks legit to me. I am assuming you are Sydney based, no harm going to RSC to have it checked.

I think the watch is fine.
However, if you would like further piece of mind:
Maybe give Swiss Concept a call and they could confirm they sold it. (assuming they are still open).
Also you could use UV light on warranty card to determine that is genuine.
